Kerry L. Garman

Kerry L. Garman spent over 35 years leading human resources functions within Fortune 500 companies across food retail, animal protein, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. His roles spanned global responsibilities, including assignments in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. With a degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Arkansas State University, Kerry brings together a lifetime of real-world business experience and his family’s literary roots to create compelling fiction.

Both his father and sister were journalists and authors, and their influence sparked his early interest in storytelling. Throughout his corporate career, Kerry handled issues related to leadership, ethics, communication, and crisis management. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into how companies operate and sometimes fail, under public and legal pressure.

After retiring, Kerry turned full-time to fiction writing, bringing realism and imagination together in his work. His writing is inspired by real situations, characters shaped by complex decisions, and industries under strain. He currently lives outside Austin, Texas, enjoying time with his children and grandchildren when not writing.
